TOUR HAURU  (CAMPING)

This unique and exclusive tour consists of  4 days and 3 nights camping around the island in one of the most attractive and new tours Discover Rapa Nui Adventure has to offer. On horse back we will ride discovering different locations, ending the afternoons at the campsites where our staff will be awaiting with exquisite menu and many surprises.

Day 1 : From Hanga Roa you will begin the tour riding along our guides that will show you all the amazing locations found between town and the beautiful Anakena beach, where you will end your first day. Duration of the ride: 4 hours.
Once at Anakena, we will reach Hoe campgrounds where we will be awaited with plenty of Rapa Nui surprises and a great traditional dinner.

Day 2 : you will begin your day riding towards Poike hill, after a big Rapa Nui breakfast. At Poike you will hike up the hill to reach the top and enjoy the fabulous view of the center of the island. Then you will ride towards Rano Raraku quarry, our final destiny for the second day. Here too you will de awaited by our staff with a great dinner and the possibility of visiting the quarry thoroughly.

Day 3 : From Rano Raraku you will ride towards Vinapu, sector full of ruins and toppled moais, result of ancient tribal wars. Here you will meet with the third base camp were you will enjoy our last night of farewell to this camping adventure experience.

Day 4 : Our last day begins with a hike up Orongo, by the south side of the Rano Kau volcano where we find the Ahu Tahira. Following the trail that leads to Vai A Tare, where it’s hypnotizing view of Orongo’s ceremonial village is breathtaking. From here you will begin to descend towards Hanga Roa town to finalize our 4-day camping adventure.
