ERUA TUTU ( MOUNTAIN BIKING)
This is an excellent way of getting to know the island. Our mountain bike tours are done throughout the whole island riding on dirt, rocky or paved roads. Our tours have different levels of difficulty; according to your capacity you can choose from the different alternatives we have to offer:
Te Pahu/ Terevaka / Vaitea : These rides start at Hanga Kao Kao towards the Te Pahu caverns where you will walk through their underground paths. From here you will begin to ascend the TereVaka hill, this ride lasts up to one hour depending on your physical condition. Once we reach the top where you will enjoy a beautiful 360º view of the island. You can choose to descend by Vaitea, through its eucalyptus woods or by Ahu Akivi (Seven Moais), where our staff will await you with a delicious mid day snack and drinks.

Anakena: The ride towards Anakena beach consists of an 18 km ride through a winding paved road that will take you through the Rapa Nui countryside from Hanga Roa town to Anakena beach. We will stop at Vaitea for a 15 minute break before continuing to our final destination where you will be awaited by our staff with a delicious lunch at the Anakena campgrounds where we will be able to enjoy is beautiful sandy beach and pristine, warm waters.
The ride back to town is optional ( you can return by vehicle if you wish ).

Orongo: You will ride up the Rano Kau volcano trail until we reach the national park of Orongo, where you will visit Orongo, the ancient ceremonial village, entirely.
We have three different schedules to make this trip:
Po’ a (morning ride) : we start this trip early in the morning to catch the sunrise at the top the Rano Kau volcano and appreciate the beauty of the morning light over the town of Hanga Roa below.
Duration: 3 hours
Hora Kai (lunch time) : we will ride up before lunchtime to reach the top and enjoy a great lunch that will await us in the woods of this volcano.
Duration: 4 hours
Ahi Ahi ( sunset) : The goal of this ride is to reach the top of the volcano before the sunsets and settle yourself comfortably to watch the sunset in the vast ocean before you and appreciate how the colors change before our eyes. The descend can be done by vehicle if preferred.
