MAHANA TAPATI (SUNDAY TOUR)

These original tours consist of experiencing a Sunday the way the  Rapanui do. We begin attending Sunday mass at the town church. This is a moving experience where we can hear the mass in Spanish and Rapanui language and where the songs are sung in Rapanui with the typical musical instruments and an incredible, gripping devotion. From here we will continue to enjoy the rest of the day in the countryside and along our Rapanui friends, spending time, learning and enjoying their activities, such as line fishing, recollecting seashells, wood carving, singing and cooking Tunuahi or Curantos, their typical way of cooking fish or meat on red hot rocks. We will arrive at our destination either on horseback or by vehicle if preferred.
